McQUEEN

I know the whole fashion world is in shock today. Alexander McQueen, one of the best couture designers of our time, is dead. It is so heartbreaking. He had an amazing talent and he will be missed greatly. I hope the house of McQueen can carry on the same creativity and unique character that he brought to fashion.

Alexis Mabille

A few looks from Alexis Mabille (Sp10 Couture). I hadn't heard of this designer before. I can't say that I'm in love with her collection, but I like how it catches your eye. It's very bold, but simple. I like the 1st black dress a lot and how it has that cool waist-slimming effect that everyone is doing.

No Pants Subway Ride??

Umm, why didn't I know about this? I totally would have participated. I love prancing about in my undergarments!

"Not even freezing cold temperatures could keep people from, er, taking off their pants Sunday. Organized by Improv Everywhere, the ninth annual No Pants Subway Ride united those looking to shake up the doldrums of daily life with a good sense of humor.
Yesterday's event attracted hundreds of intrepid New Yorkers who met up at several points around town, ending up at Union Square to rolic around the park. New York wasn't the only city with stripping straphangers: 44 cities across 16 countries participated in No Pants 2010, from Buenos Aires to Stockholm."
